About me

I'm a Hertfordshire-based psychotherapist, offering online and in-person sessions. My work is grounded in creating a thoughtful, comfortable, and confidential space where you can explore what’s happening in your inner world, at your own pace and in your own words.

Before training as a therapist, I spent many years working in the creative arts. That experience continues to shape how I support people, particularly around questions of identity, performance pressure/anxiety, depression, and finding one’s place in competitive environments.

My approach is primarily psychodynamic and relational, with a humanistic, person-centred influence. I see therapy as a collaborative process one where the therapeutic relationship itself can offer new ways of understanding and being.

Alongside private practice, I’ve spent the past few years working in a residential setting with people navigating addictive processes. This has deepened my appreciation for the courage it takes to face change and the many ways people learn to survive pain.

I'm a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follow their Code of Ethics. I welcome clients from all walks of life and work with sensitivity around difference, including cultural, social, and gender identity. I hold an affirming and inclusive stance on LGBTQIA+ experience.
